Drea was everything we could have hoped for in a DJ for our wedding. She visited the venue ahead of time to get familiar with the PA we'd be using, showed up early to make sure everything worked with the sound day of, and helped us stay on schedule by MC'ing our event. Andrea took on a full MC & DJ role at our wedding and absolutely crushed it!! We were looking for a bilingual DJ who would be able to mix a variety of genres and address all guests (spanish & english speakers).
From the first initial call, Andrea made sure to ask us questions to get an idea of our music vision and overall wedding vibe, and asked if there were any “forbidden” songs or genres we generally wanted to avoid, which we hadn’t thought about addressing but were glad it was asked. She was a great communicator throughout and was very accommodating to a lot of requests we had, which was awesome! She never made us feel like anything was too much and always stayed on top of things.
Fast forward to wedding day, and Andrea continued to kill it. We wanted to open the dance floor immediately after a group picture to engage as many guests as possible, and Andrea gave some suggestions on opening songs based on the genres she was playing throughout the night. When the dance floor started slowing down, Andrea would resuscitate it by transitioning to the next genre, and so on. Finally, we ended the night with guest requests (which was very fun!) and Andrea made sure to check the requests against the forbidden list!!
